• What is the best way to store plastic and poly materials?

  The most important consideration when storing plastic and poly materials is keeping them protected from direct sunlight which can degrade the materials, leading to discoloration and weakening. Avoid storing plastic and poly materials in areas with high humidity or extreme temperatures, and rather in a cool, dry environment. Additionally, avoid storing the plastic and poly materials near strong chemicals, as they can cause damage.
• Can you use poly bags in cold/freezer environments?

  Many poly bags can be used in cold environments as low-density polyethylene (LDPE) and high-density polyethylene (HDPE) are designed to withstand cold temperatures. It's important to consider the specific characteristics of the bag and it's intended contents when determining whether it is safe for use in cold environments. • Are poly plastics food safe?

  Not all poly plastics are food safe. To ensure that the poly plastic is food safe, look for either the FDA approval for food contact, or the recycling symbol. The recycling symbol with the number 1 (HDPE), 2 (LDPE), or 5 (PP) indicate that the plastic is generally safe for food contact, however can't always be guaranteed.
